Somebody's Daughter: A Memoir by Ashley C. Ford
challenging
medium-paced
4.5
I was a big fan that the author was the one to narrate her own book. I very much appreciate when an author does that. I would be sure to read through the trigger warnings on this book. There were definitely parts of this book that hit. I was definitely rooting for Ashley in this. I'm glad there was a majority positive ending.
Graphic: Child abuse, Emotional abuse, and Rape
Moderate: Death and Toxic relationship
Minor: Chronic illness, Sexism, Sexual content, and Pregnancy
