Denise Holton’s son, Kyle, has a severe learning disability which impacts his speech. On the way back from another appointment, they are involved in a wreck that knocks Denise unconscious and causes a scared Kyle to wander into the swamp alone. Volunteer firefighter, Taylor McAden, stumbles upon the wreck and begins the search for Kyle. Taylor has always taken huge risks in his life but the one risk he would never take was falling in love, that was until he met Denise.
I enjoyed the realistic love story that showed anybody can open their heart to love, even in spite of all that has happened in their life.
