I was given an ARC of this book for my honest review. Now that disclosure is out of the way, let’s get to the good stuff.
This book is a solid 4 stars. When I rate books it’s how much I can picture with the writing or how invested I become with the characters.
This was a simple read with fourteen chapters and a epilogue. It might not be the longest book but it still packs a punch. The characters of Erica and Jimmy were very relatable and understandable. I personally related the most to Erica as I’ve been in the caregiver position. So I understood the plight that the main protagonist experienced.
I give this small town, 2nd chance romance… two thumbs up. (
