I've been a fan of The Room for a long time, and The Disaster Artist was everything I could've hoped it would be. Perfectly paced, nicely detailed, and written in an entertaining way. There are times where the narration makes you pity Tommy or feel like Greg is being unnecessarily mean in his descriptions and times where Tommy seems like such an asshole that he deserves it. I have no real lasting complaints. It might've been nice if there has been a chapter dedicated to the snowball effect of the film gaining notoriety and the evolutions of the midnight screenings and favorite things that happened at them, but it also would've given the book a far less poignant ending than the one it has.
