The Last Nanny in Manhattan by K. Sterling

Did not finish book.
Dnf at just over 50%. These children are not 'precious'. They're more like the creepy children in the original (black and white) Village of the Damned.

You can't beat Lily Morton or KD Edwards for cool kids who are smart, funny, clever, naughty, real. Why spend so much of my review on the kids when it's an mm? Because so much of the story revolves around the precious, precious children. Precious. Blurgh. What they are is Gollums, in puffy dresses that conjure images of Shirley Temple.

Also, I don't understand why if Walker Cameron the thirty third point third, is such an astute/successful businessman who daily (it seems) takes calls from presidents and prime ministers, yet has no secretary or assistant to run his office for him, he writes his own diary and his BUTLER clears his papers for him. In fact he doesn't even have an office of staff to run his empire. Just his butler to clear up. Now don't get me wrong, I believe in the power of an excellent butler but that is a bit much.

Well whatevs. It's a no thank you very much kind regards from me.
