I am EAGERLY awaiting the second book. I cried so much. I love both Yexue and Siwang, despite themselves, and I hope she marries them both haha. There is so much I loved in this book, I don't think I could start to quote all the things I loved and that resonated with me. Siwang's letters at the end of the book made me cry the most, it took me a lot of time afterwards to calm down. But I guess I'll put this out there: in the acknowledgements, Molly (the author) says she wrote this book as her "last hurrah before [she] gave up writing for good." and I received this book just a few days before my trip, which I wanted to be my last trip, if you can understand. I've always felt fate wanted me to suffer, so I always did my best to defy it, and I always felt as if I lived completely by myself, forsaken even by the sky. I still have no answers for my life, but this book gave me so much comfort. Maybe I'll gather some strength and continue to live and fight back.
