Carry on by Rainbow Rowell

I really, really enjoyed this book. I loved the story but I did find the first 200 pages a little confusing. I felt like I'd picked up the third book in a series by mistake or something. ⁣

The characters were lovely and their friendship so nice (well, mostly) that it was just a really warming, happy dynamic. I thought Baz as a character was awesome, and loved how quickly Rowell made me change my opinion on him. This book is worth reading just for the 10 pages after his arrival. ⁣

I'm not sure how this sits with the Harry Potter series, or if Rowell has made any comment on that, but I found it to be an almost satirical take on Rowling's books... At times it felt weirdly unfaithful to be reading it... But it was so unputdownable, I couldn't not!
