I'm sorry, but seeing all these high ratings for this book make me lose my faith in humanity. This book was BEYOND AWFUL. The character was a whiny bitch that no one can relate with at all (unless of course, you're a whiny bitch too). The story line was awful and unrealistic. The whole time the protagonist was running around bitching about this or that and this guy named Dexter TOTALLY digs that. I don't understand. And he creepily climbs through her window without her permission and after days of her hatin' on him, they just start making out. Oh my goodness. After reading this, I wanted to burn it and send it back to Dessen, telling her that I want my money, and hours of my life back.
