You, Again by Kate Goldbeck

Did not finish book. Stopped at 45%.
I couldn’t for the life of me get into this one. Even with the promised When Harry Met Sally vibes, Ari and Josh’s storyline (at least for the first half of the book) lacked any kind of heart or genuine care for me.

Ari, despite being a stand up comic and improv actor, seemed to only be capable of making jokes about sex and her attitude towards sex read more like a bad husband in a sitcom than a fully built out character.

Josh at least had a solid history to his character and you were introduced to a bit of growth with him, but he still fell so flat for me.

All in all, life is too short for books that aren’t right for you so moving right along!
