I expected to enjoy this book because it came highly recommended. Simon was surprisingly unlikable, Baz being the most interesting character, and overall there were so many perspectives weaving into the story that each chapter became disorienting, especially in audiobook form. Most chapters read like diary entries instead of actual scenes, which just didn’t work for me.
