I am not trying to be insensitive toward the character, or the form of abuse in any way shape or form. However, I felt as though, for someone who was SA in the way that she was, she wouldn’t be happy to jump into bed with another person. Long story short, it wasn’t something believable. At least not from my perspective. I have heard from others who have been SA or groped that they try to stray from all men possible. I can count on that too. So, I DNF the book because I felt as though toward the middle, it started getting intense and wasn’t believable. If there are people out there who choose to still do it, sure, I would think that it is natural. But right after? You wouldn’t pour acid on a still open wound, sorry.
