Catch Me When I Fall by A.L. Jackson

4.0

I am loving this series. It feels so good to be back in A.L. Jackson's rockstar world.

Catch Me When I Fall is another beautifully written, emotionally charged, hopeful read by the wonderful A.L. Jackson. The second book in the Falling Stars series takes you along on Emily and Royce's journey of healing and vengeance. I love, love love the connection between these two. Maybe a little too instalovey but I still couldn't get enough of their chemistry.

Royce Reilly joins Jackson's long list of delicious heroes. My goodness. Can A.L. Jackson write a tortured soul or what?! Driven by pain, revenge and love, Royce captured my heart right away. I swoon for the way he loves because when he cares for someone, he will move heaven and earth to protect them. Evident by what he did for Emily and his sister.

I adored Emily Ramsey. Sweet, loyal but full of pain, I could help but love her. Yes, there were times where I questioned her decisions to keep her secret to herself. But, I can admire her dedication to her bandmates and especially to her brother - who, by the way, I hope we get a story for because he needs to redeem himself in my eyes.

I'm addicted to the way A.L. Jackson keeps you guessing. She pulls you in only giving you a little bit of information at a time. And, you're on pins and needles waiting for something big or a twist to happen. When it comes ...gah!... blown away.

I highly recommend picking up these Falling Stars books. They'll make you, swoon, feel, and love. But also, who doesn't want to read about yummy musicians.
