Trigger warning - Child trauma

Owens character is really intriguing, he seems like a very dodgy character. I seemed to warm to Owen towards the end, you'll see why if you read this book.

Saffyre is also really interesting, she comes across well as a character, shes been through so much and is just getting on with things her own way. Her Uncle is such a lovely character, I really warmed to him from his first appearance in the book. I absolutely love that Saffyre got the cat that she always wanted.

It was quite hard to read the bits about Rowan, I won't give anything away but he is a secretly seedy character but you don't really see it at the beginning.

This book is gripping and exciting, the overwhelming need to find out whats happened and who did it is amazing. I really like Lisa Jewell's books and this did not disappoint.
