Falling Leaves: The Memoir of an Unwanted Chinese Daughter
by Adeline Yen Mah
The author's story, though heartbreaking, is not often told in a way that is particularly compelling. As I read, I felt like I was being told the story rather than experiencing it through the author's perspective. Her story is indeed sad, and I think people should read this to understand how toxic family can be sometimes.
