🌶🌶🌶 a slow, slow-burn and heartfelt story. Hudson's handle of his grief over rhis mom's loss and welcoming Maddie and Lucy was the most heartwarming parts of this story. I think this was such a cozy read and sparked my terest in learning sign language. There is no major blow up or drama which was refreshing, and overall the story was a comfort I didnt know I needed.
The level of spice is good but more mild than the previous books I think. They built up a strong friendship before approaching the relationship (you go through 50-60% of the story before any spice).
