I definitely bought this because the cover was pretty lol. It's not a bad book by any means. The main character had motivation, I was interested in her, the plot had adequate pacing. I think if you are a person that has read a lot (and I mean A LOT) of fae stories or any BookTok/Bookstagram recent reads, this might read as very similar to them. I believe the author was on BookTok and dedicated it to them, so it's not surprising. It wasn't terrible, and I enjoyed myself.
