Reign by Siobhan Davis

Siobhan Davis delivers with Reign a great third installment of this High School Dark Reverse Harem. I’m immediately drawn back into the story and what a bookhangover. The story is completely told in the first person. Most comes from Harlow. Yet every now and then you also read from the minds of the boys. This gives a nice extra dimension. It’s all written very expressively.

I was very disappointed that Reign was put off and that I had to wait after Rebellion. But as soon as I opened the book, I was immediately back in the story. Especially after that end of part 2.

These guys and Harlow are great. The third part started slowly after the end of part 2. I liked this, because I could ease myself back in again and if you read forward from the second one you can catch your breath.

The story quickly accelerates again. A number of rotten things happen (I don’t want to say too much, but really… damn… I didn’t expect it). This makes Harlow even more determined and I totally understand her.

Fortunately, all four boys are behind her and she is behind them. They are a real team and the relationship Siobhan describes is one to be jealous of.

This great last part of this series will keep you on the edge of your seat until the end. This is definitely one of my favorite series. I thoroughly enjoyed this well-constructed and deeply layered story.
Big applause for Siobhan and please, if you haven’t started yet: READ THIS SERIES!
