A nice, little novella.
I enjoyed the writing, though it was a bit difficult as a non-native English speaker. I thought the characters were really well-developed and the ending was heartbreaking but realistic. It touched on a lot of important topics, though you can tell it was written a while ago.
It was a good story, but not a subject I would normally gravitate towards. 3/5
