Finally finished. Not gonna lie, took a fair amount of effort to pick this one up again after reading the first two chapters but also to push through and finish it off.

The plot twist everyone says is amazing was predictable - saw it coming from the beginning of the London flashbacks. Oooh, don’t even get me started on the flashbacks. The only thing they did was confuse me and make me wanna put the book down. I know they were probably used for that exact purpose, confuse the reader so they can’t keep the plot straight and don’t see the twist coming but they killed me.

I also hate Jules. In retrospect, after having read the entirety of the book, she’s a bad person and not meant to be liked. It’d be odd if people liked her but it did make persevering through the book harder.

Mostly picked this one up because I love We Were Liars so much. Kinda wish I had left this on the shelf at the book store.
