The God Desire by David Baddiel

challenging funny lighthearted fast-paced

4.5

As a lifelong atheist whose relationship with religion has become more complex as an adult who understands it's psychological and social functions better, this book put views I've struggled to articulate into words so concisely that it will probably be a point of reference for many future conversations on the topic. Well worth the read for anyone of any faith; Baddiel takes a respectful approach both to being religious and an atheist while discussing why he cannot, in good faith, believe in God.
