The Paris Architect by Charles Belfoure

4.5/5 stars
I love Holocaust literature, so I’m not shocked I was attracted to this book. I definitely don’t regret snagging it when it was on sale.
If you’re looking for a story of redemption, this is it. Lucien, the main character is an absolute asshole for half the book (but great story), but you can follow his progression as a person throughout the novel.
This story definitely gets dark at times though, so this isn’t one for someone that has an issue with violence. Foul language warning too.
