This debut novel is a fast, quirky ride with a wildly unreliable narrator at the wheel. Julie Tudor may say she’s not a psychopath, but her choices (and inner monologue) might suggest otherwise. Think chaotic good meets deeply unhinged—and somehow, still charming.
It’s a fun, propulsive read with dark humor and a twist of danger, though I found some of the plot beats a bit repetitive. Still, as a debut, it shows promise—and I’ll definitely be watching to see what Jennifer Holdich writes next!
