The Modiste Mishap by Erica Ridley

4.0

This is a cute, funny story that sits between The Perks of Loving a Wallflower and Nobody's Princess (which just released on Tuesday July 26). Sybil, a cerebral member of the reading circle that we were introduced to through Phillipa and Chloe (protagonists of the first two Wild Wynchesters books) is an organizer extraordinare. She is in charge of the small lending libraries that the group runs and longs for a magical night of dancing of her own, but do to family circumstances she cannot afford the fripperies necessary. She meets the premier modiste of the beau monde on accident and ends up helping solve a crime of fashion proportions. Enjoyable read.

I received and ARC of this short story from the author in exchange for my honest review
