Trust No One by Jayne Ann Krentz

5.0

I've been reading books from Jayne Ann Krentz/Amanda Quick since I was a teenager. Every time I read a JAK or an Amanda Quick novel it's like meeting an old friend. There is something very comforting reading a story written by JAK/Amanda Quick since I know her writing and storytelling style so well after more than a decade of reading her books.

Trust No One is classic JAK style. Great characters (quirky/optimistic female protagonist teaming up with a mysterious/brooding hero), fast-paced plot with hiding-in-plain-sight killer and complex history set against a small town in the Pacific Northwest. I'm so glad JAK returned to her roots of writing these romantic suspense novels. Always a winner for me and never a disappointment.
