I finally made it to the third bridge kingdom novel!! Even though I love Eren and Lara, I was excited to learn about Keris and Zarrah, reading about their relationship ship in The Traitor Queen made me so curious how two enemy heirs came to know each other and care for one another. Even though this makes sense logically, I was surprised that this entire book takes place during The Traitor Queen, I thought some of it would, but that we would mostly be past those events. I feel like The Inadequate Heir had a lot larger political focus than a love story focus compared to the first two books. There were times I felt the book dragged a bit, but the last fifty pages went by so fast! I feel like this whole book was basically a foundation for the next book, The Endless War and I’m so intrigued to see how that book is going to play out!!
