I'm not sure what I expected from this book, but I ended up being impressed. In the beginning I didn't like Elisa; she drove me nuts. As the story progressed I grew to enjoy her, because she grew as a person. On the matter of her love interests, I didn't want her with the king and I didn't want her with Humberto; she is supposed to be with Hector! Obviously Hector is the one for her! He likes her from the very beginning!
