The Duke of Ice lives up to his name. They both can break your heart with everything that has happened in those eight years to both of them. I loved how it was a journey for both of them learning to let go of the past and move forward. The scene at the hotel was amazing and a favorite. I loved his friendship with Simon and feared what might happen between them. I was holding my breath near the end, but the ending was perfect and I cheered at the surprise after they were married.
Violet's heart has always belonged to Nick and fate brought them together again. I loved how she wanted to help the younger ladies and felt for them. She knew what her heart wanted. but tried so hard to move on.
Nick was afraid to feel anything ever again. He needed to be around other and be free again but didn't know it. I loved him more and more as his story unfolded and he melted away. He almost lost everything.
