this was a unique spin on the goose girl (wouldn’t exactly say it’s a pure retelling but there’s elements there) and I had fun reading this! I love T. Kingfisher’s writing and she writes such interesting characters. My heart broke for Cordelia and I was rooting for her the whole time. I also loved that we got Hester’s pov, she’s a really cool character. I thought the ending was a little rushed but overall a good book.
