reread review — if this was my first time reading this book, it’d probably be more like 4.5 stars. this was sjm’s first work and it’s pretty obvious, as her writing has very much improved in books after this one. however, partly for nostalgia’s sake, i can’t give this anything less than 5 stars. i love the characters and the world so incredibly much, and spending time with them again was so much fun! i’m just so excited to continue my reread of one of my all-time favorite series!!! “YOU COULD RATTLE THE STARS. YOU COULD DO ANYTHING, IF YOU ONLY DARED” <3
