I know it’s fiction, but I can’t handle when a character has something happen to them in another country, and the people involved are somehow connected to their hometown. It’s too far-fetched for me. I also had a hard time with the timeline. It wasn’t adding up. Too drawn out, and at one point, I just wanted it to end.
