i was so floored by this. 
loved the quiet scenes and character development all in service of building out a rich and beautifully interesting world. 
gorgeous prose and had great things to say a la the feminist/trans cyborg, found family, hope/self-determination, creation, and what it is to be a human. bizarre and wonderful.
