The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid

5.0

What a fantastic book. I am so glad I picked this book up. It was an incredible story that I found to be heartbreaking at its core. I also had very mixed feelings about Evelyn. I thought she was so cunning, which made me dislike her at certain points, but I also saw her as a woman struggling to live her truth and that made me feel for her. But when I got to chapter 56, that was the beginning of this book totally gutting me. From chapter 56 to the end of the book I was pretty much an emotional trainwreck.

I love how this book was written and it was such an enjoyable read.
