THIS IS SUCH A GOOD BOOK! I love the whimsy and the charm throughout the entire story, and the illustrations are so much fun! You can already tell from the very start of the book that Heather has such a loving and supporting, caring and wonderful family life, and the way that the story handles the question about what families are like for other people is so wonderful! I adore the diversity of family situations they described, because no two family situations are alike, even when they seem to be on the surface. And emphasizing the message that it's about the love that a family has for each other that's the most important thing, no matter what your family looks like, is such a fantastic message. This is absolutely a must-read book for everyone! A staple for all kids! I loved it!
