The Easter Parade by Richard Yates

5.0

I read this both on my phone and in the Everyman's Library collection of some of Yates's works. It was nice to be back with his voice so soon after reading Revolutionary Road. Getting a sense that everything Yates writes about is pretty bleak but goddamn does he craft it into something beautiful. Loved the story; dreading middle age.
