This was a fascinating read, but it's a bit of it's time. There is absolutely not enough blame given to the adults in Drew's life that failed her, and it's very clear that it was written before she had any time or experience for her to realise exactly how much she had been failed.
Other than that, learning about the ASAP program and Drew's life as a young person was fascinating. I really encourage anyone who decides to read this book also follow up with her newer memoir Wildflower.
