Vandal by Rachel Leigh

5.0

Vandal is the third book in the Redwood Rebels Series by Rachel Leigh. This story belongs to Tommy Chambers and Wyatt McCoy. It is a MM high school romance with hate speech and dark content which some readers might find triggering.

I don’t read a lot of MM books because it’s not something that really interests me but I love this series so much and I didn’t want to miss out on a single thing. This is the first time Rachel has written MM and I have to say that she knocked it out of the park. This book was intense, mysterious, heartbreaking, intriguing, emotionally raw and absolutely beautiful.

I knew that Tommy was going to something special from the very first moment that he was introduced in Striker and I was absolutely right. I loved learning more about Tommy but it really broke my heart to see him struggle with his pain, anger and sexuality. I loved Tommy and Wyatt so much, I loved as definitely rooting for them from the very start.

More pieces of the puzzle are revealed in this book along with more secrets, twists and turns that I never saw coming. Rachel did a fantastic job with this story and I am so glad that I was able to be apart of this journey. Zed’s story is up next in Reaper and I don’t think that I will ever be ready to know more about what happened to him.

I recieved an advanced copy for free, and this is my honest opinion.
