Decent first book of discworld. Having read all of the City Watch first I know Pratchett still has a long way to develop his writing style and world from here, it does move very fast at times and sometimes hard to grasp exactly what is happening. But overall it’s still an entertaining and creative (3 in 1) story, and his unique humour in his writing is still stands out even in this, the earliest of his books.
