Uzumaki by Junji Ito

Absolutely brilliant by all accounts. It starts strong, like a serpent wrapping itself around your neck, and never lets go. There is so much thought, dedication and love for the Horror genre in this manga. I'm not surprised, though. Junji Ito is a master. I'd say this is a must-read for Horror fans who enjoy manga too.

The premise is simple, but it's explored masterfully. There is dread oozing from every page. Easy five stars.
