Blown away. I had myself questioning… do I like the SECOND book more? I thought I would likely prefer Daughter of the Moon Goddess, but I think this has now become my favorite duology/series. Five stars to both! Once again mesmerized by the lyrical writing from Tan and beyond pleased with Xingyin staying true to herself and maintaining her integrity despite all the hardship she faced. I sat with and felt ALL of Xingyin’s emotions over the course of her journey. I was completely immersed in the world and in all of my feels.💕
