Complicate Me by M. Robinson

3.0

I have very mixed feelings about this book. There were parts that were amazing and blew me away. And there were parts that left me bored and unsatisfied. The book started out okay for me but by 30% it kinda lost me. I felt like there was just so much over explanation of their childhood. It really took a long time to get to the good stuff. The hero and heroine weren't even together until the last 5% of the book. There was so much added to the story that just seemed unnecessary to me.

M. is one heck of a storyteller though. I can see how well thought out this novel was. I get what she was trying to do, unfortunately for me it just didn't work. I am definitely interested in reading the next story in The Good Ol' Boys series, it was set up beautifully at the end of Complicate Me.
