I just finished reading this book and I'm still reeling from the excitement it's left me with. I think I have a headache. Might be because I haven't slept all night.

This book is incredible. And you can tell I'm that impressed by this by the fact that I decided to write this review after having barely written anything here for several months now. I have never been so thoroughly invested in a book as much as this one. The way it is written, the several different formats, makes sure you're just as much part of this. The book makes you just as much part of solving the case, along with the main character. You've probably heard from somewhere that a good mystery has you trying to solve the case and keeps you at pace as the plot is unraveling. And it's never been truer.

The main character, Pippa Fitz-Amobi, is perhaps one of the most thoroughly entertaining main character I've read of recently. She truly drives the story. She's never bland, never boring, never annoying, never just a vessel for the story to be told through. She's a very real very cool character. And I'd say that about everyone else in the story. The characters were all really well written. I can actually say that about the whole book; never bland, never boring, never annoying. Thoroughly entertaining. Completely captivating. My head's really hurting. I think I really sleep now, even though it's already 8 in the morning. No regrets, this book was worth it!
