1.5 stars but let’s round it up because kaitlyn’s story was okay and i appreciated opening with sarah’s vastly different class experience. i was excited to read this because it seems like dyke drama x manhattan socialite escapism would be a fun and dramatic romp, but the conflicts came off as manufactured and way too played up, and the anthology format (each girl gets her own section of the book) made everything feel rushed and basically killed character development as the author struggled to escalate from first meeting to sex scene before the chapter limit was up.

that said i also found the sex scenes (and the buildup to them) hard to read? with some awkward dialogue and implausible dynamics for strangers who had literally just met, or an ex one hasnt seen in years, etc.
