this was weird and poetic and intense and raw and very much depressing and i want to rate it higher but, many parts of it were too intense for me to understand. maybe ill revisit this when im older and end up getting more out of it but for now this is what it is.
i heard about the premise of this book in one of jack edward's youtube videos, as one does, and immediately added it to my tbr because... a graphic novel written by an Indian woman about sexuality, gender and mental health? sign me up right now. unfortunately i don't think my brain was big enough for it but i still enjoyed a lot of it immensely. i love the main character, saw myself in her more times than i'd have liked and wish i got to spend more time with her. i definitely recommend trying this out but also would like to put forth a warning that this may not be everybody's cup of tea.
