This book was not quite what I thought it would be, but I have to respect it. This dark, dark twisted version of the Canterbury Tales is mesmerizing and haunting, asking numerous questions about truth, lies, and human nature. I don't know if I liked it, or if I feel haunted by the howling wolf mentioned in the book itself, but I couldn't put it down and I will be thinking about this one for a long time.
