Have you ever watched those anime movies where you know it's going to be sad, you know you'll cry, and you'll be okay with the torture? Then this is the perfect book for you. You've Reached Sam has the same feelings as the movies Your Name and A Silent Voice. A beautifully written novel about a girl who struggles with loss and struggles with moving forward. Be ready to have tissues on hand because tears were she'd the entire book. This was hands down one of the best books I've read for 2021 and this is coming from someone who doesn't typically read young adult contemporary.
