This was a beautiful book!
I loved the format of each chapter beginning with a fairytale (told start to finish in sections at the start of each chapter), Baba Yaga's own thoughts on the matter at hand, followed by the author's interpretation and history of each chapter's subject matter.
This was a fantastic way to delve into and celebrate Slavic folk magic and the Ukrainian diaspora.
