Two people in dire need of money and an unexpected meeting at a ball. He wants to help her and be her knight in shining armor. She also wants to help him but doesn't feel like she could marry him and leave like she has planned. Throw in some mean grandparents and let the fun begin.
I really enjoyed this story. I could share and understand the feelings of both characters. Ms. Ridley did a excellent job with this story and I can't wait to read the next one.
