The beginning was so fucking boring. I did not care about how hard it was to be in the fucking kingdom like that could’ve been wrapped up in one chapter or maybe two all I wanted to know, was the fucking mystery of who the fuck attacked meg and they decided to wrap that up in the end like the last like two chapters and they’re so fucking annoying because like Why rush that part also emotional intimacy was so lackluster in this book like every time, Meg would bring up an issue with these dudes they would just have sex. Like that’s one thing that weirds me out about some of this money books is the equate love with sex like they have a lot of sex and then suddenly they’re in love and I’m like no??? Like I’m not invested I don’t. I’m not convinced that y’all are in love , maybe lust but not love I do believe they love each other but they don’t communicate enough and I wish the book flushed out their communication issues a little bit more instead of talking about it being an issue like I want I want to see them solve it.
