To begin, I found this book slightly tedious, this is pretty much the third volume in a row where I’ve read Peter dealing with the same moral problem, at first I found this incredibly gripping, by now it feels slightly dragged out, in civil war, it was incredible due to the addition of iron man dynamic, in back in black, it was cool af with the addition of Peter not holding back, in this it was boring as it was just moody Peter doing morally questionable things to save aunt may. Not to say this isn’t a great story but I just was a bit sick of spider man not quite being the true hero, HOWEVER it took such a huge upturn after the dr strange stuff and then an INCREDIBLY better ending then I expected, I mean god giving up MJ??? I think this leads on to brand new day I’m not sure but I do love what it set up, it was heartbreakingly sad, and it had made the book better looking at it retrospectively, so I may appreciate it more on a second read
