A compelling ghost story about sisterhood and grief. At times, this book felt reminiscent of The Virgin Suicides based on the neighborhoods boys occasionally narration and mystic regard of the sisters. I found myself cheering for the sisters and wishing to protect and defend them. And my heart swelled at the mention of San Marcos and Austin. Ugh, books set in Texas will always be a soft spot for me.
